Good for the Heart

Yesterday, I got super stressed out about some things going on at work so I decided to step away and go on an adventure with my friend Megan and the pups we are housesitting. We ended up at an exotic pool in the back of the Signal Hill neighborhood. AKA we snuck through the fence and borrowed the Renno's pool while they are on a mission trip.

Then I got back to the house where I am housesitting and I called up my #1 girl, Ann. We decided that with all of Metro Atlanta on Spring Break, there would be no traffic and we would meet at the Marietta Square for a delightful dollar sushi Monday at Thaicoon! We finished eating at 7:30 and the sun was still warming our cheeks like the perfect spring evening. We went on a stroll through the square and saw couples holding hands, high schoolers watching a screaming goat video on their phones and laughing, a couple obviously on one of their first dates, children playing on the little train playground, and an elderly couple holding hands and still in love.

I was thinking it couldn't get any better and then I saw my favorite flowers in the whole wide world lining all the surrounding landscape areas of the town square. Jesus was telling me "I have such a beautiful perfect life planned for you and it's going to be even better than these hundreds of tulips I had specially planted just for your heart"

As if that wasn't enough to make my day great, I got the privilege of hosting my dear friend Maggie Mayo for the evening. We were both in dire need of a pampering girls night so I got all the necessary supplies and waited for the arrival of the Magi.

BEWARE.... The next photo is disturbing.

Listen to the Mustn'ts

Listen to the MUSTN’TS, child,

Listen to the DON’TS

Listen to the SHOULDN’TS

The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON’TS

Listen to the NEVER HAVES

Then listen close to me—

Anything can happen, child,

ANYTHING can be.
